UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., June 6, 2006 - Penn State sophomore Robert Rohanna (Waynesboro, Pa.) has been named to the PING Mid-Atlantic All-Region Golf Team by the Golf Coaches Association of America. The selection marked the second all-region honor for Rohanna, who was also named as a freshman, and the 35th Penn State all-region selection since 1990.

Rohanna led Penn State with a 73.48 stroke average on the year and posted six top 15 finishes. He had three top 10 finishes during the fall season including a fourth place finish at the Big Five Classic and a fifth place at the Memphis Intercollegiate. His 15th place finish at the Big Ten Championships in April led Penn State. He was one of nine Big Ten golfers named to one of the nine all-region teams.
