Hot Springs, Va., June 1, 2004 - The Penn State Men's Golf team fired a solid 289 (+9) at the first round of this week's NCAA Championships, ending the day in a 12th place tie. Junior Mark Leon (Brampton, Ontario) led the Nittany Lions and is tied for ninth place on the individual leaderboard after firing a team-best 69 in today's first round.
