Columbus, Ohio; April 27, 2007 ¨C Junior Robert Rohanna (Waynesburg, Pa.) was the only player in a 55-player field to shoot under par in the second round of the 2007 Big Ten Championships. Rohanna, who is tied for fourth place at three-over par through two rounds, carded seven birdies on the day, including five in the second round. Hoping to improve on his 15th place finish at last year¡¯s Championships, Rohanna shot rounds of 75 and 70 for a two-round total of 145.

Penn State is tied with Illinois for eighth place at +39. The Nittany Lions fired rounds of 301 and 306 (607). Purdue, ranked 49th by Golfweek, leads the 11-team field at 591 (+23). The 72-hole tournament, hosted by Ohio State, is being held at the 7,454-yard, par-71 OSU Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio. Purdue¡¯s Pariya Junhasavasdikul is leading the field at one-under par after firing rounds of 69 and 72 (141).

Sophomore Chad Bricker (Waynesboro, Pa.) is tied for 13th place at eight-over par (150) after firing a pair of 75s. Freshman Kevin Foley (Somerville, N.J.) shot rounds of 73 and 81 and is tied for 35th place at 12-over par (154). Marco Poccia (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) is tied for 46th place at 16-over par after posting rounds of 78 and 80 (158). Junior Harvin Groft (State College, Pa.) sits in 53rd place after shooting rounds of 79 and 81 (160).
