Rohanna Tied for Fourth Place at 2007 Big Ten Championships
Columbus, Ohio; April 27, 2007 ¨C Junior Robert Rohanna (Waynesburg, Pa.) was the only player in a 55-player field to shoot under par in the second round of the 2007 Big Ten Championships. Rohanna, who is tied for fourth place at three-over par through two rounds, carded seven birdies on the day, including five in the second round. Hoping to improve on his 15th place finish at last year¡¯s Championships, Rohanna shot rounds of 75 and 70 for a two-round total of 145. Penn State is tied with Illinois for eighth place at +39. The Nittany Lions fired rounds of 301 and 306 (607). Purdue, ranked 49th by Golfweek, leads the 11-team field at 591 (+23). The 72-hole tournament, hosted by Ohio State, is being held at the 7,454-yard, par-71 OSU Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio. Purdue¡¯s Pariya Junhasavasdikul is leading the field at one-under par after firing rounds of 69 and 72 (141). Sophomore Chad Bricker (Waynesboro, Pa.) is tied for 13th place at eight-over par (150) after firing a pair of 75s. Freshman Kevin Foley (Somerville, N.J.) shot rounds of 73 and 81 and is tied for 35th place at 12-over par (154). Marco Poccia (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) is tied for 46th place at 16-over par after posting rounds of 78 and 80 (158). Junior Harvin Groft (State College, Pa.) sits in 53rd place after shooting rounds of 79 and 81 (160). Penn State continues play at the 2007 Big Ten Championships on Saturday.
