East Lansing, Mich. ¨C April 22, 2007 ¨C Junior Robert Rohanna (Waynesburg, Pa.) added yet another top-10 finish to his impressive collegiate golf r¨¦sum¨¦ with a seventh place finish at the 40th annual Fossum Invitational. He finished at five-under par after shooting rounds of 72-68-71 (211). Rohanna, who finished five shots behind the leaders, carded 12 birdies and an eagle while finish among the leaders in par-4 (-4, 3.87 average) and par-5 (-6, 4.50) scoring. Rohanna now has 10 top-10 finishes in his collegiate career, including five this season. Penn State tied for eighth place with Ohio State and Iowa at 11-over par. The Nittany Lions posted rounds of 294-289-292 (875). Michigan State, who hosted the tournament, dominated the field at 23-under par, beating the next best team by 14 strokes. The 54-hole tournament, composed of 13 teams, was held at the 7,013-yard, par-72 Forest Akers West golf course in East Lansing, Mich. Freshman Kevin Foley (Somerville, N.J.) finished at three-under par and tied for 11th place for the second straight week after firing rounds of 73-66-74 (213). His second round score of 66, which included eight birdies, was the lowest of his collegiate career. Foley sunk 15 birdies ¨C third most in the field ¨C and finished third in par-5 scoring (-7, 4.42). Sophomore Chad Bricker (Waynesboro, Pa.) and junior Harvin Groft (State College, Pa.) finished tied for 47th and tied for 63rd, respectively. Bricker shot rounds of 75-76-73 (224) and finished at eight-over par while Groft posted scores of 74-79-77 (230) to finish at 14-over par. Freshman Jim Markovitz finished at 24-over par (240). The Nittany Lions will battle 10 other Big Ten teams next weekend at the Big Ten Championships, hosted by Ohio State. The tournament will be held April 27-29 at the 7,454-yard, par-71 OSU Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio.
