State College, Pa.; April 16, 2006- The Penn State men¡¯s golf team has signed another recruit to add to next year¡¯s class, this time during the NCAA¡¯s late-signing period. Jimmy Markovitz of Bridgeville, Pa. brings an impressive resume to Head Coach Greg Nye¡¯s squad. In high school, Markowitz won the Pa. State Boys Championship, along with a 2nd place finish the year before. In national competition, Markowitz won the AJGA Nike Jr. All Star. In the classroom, Markowitz had a 3.65 GPA.

Markowitz joins Kevin Foley and Travis Howe, who both committed earlier this year.
