Men’ Golf Wins Princeton Invitational

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The Penn State men’s golf team won the Princeton Invitational in Princeton, N.J. It was the second straight year Penn State has won the team title. The Lions shot a 1-over 569 to finish ten strokes ahead of second place William & Mary. In all, Penn State beat 18 other teams.

Penn State also won the individual title for the second consecutive year. Senior Josh Dawes (Jacksonsville, Pa.) used a final round of 63 to win the tournament.

Penn State will return to action next week when they compete at the First Energy Intercollegiate in Akron, Ohio. The tournament will take place Saturday April 20 and Sunday April 21 with tee time times at 8:00.
