Big Ten Match Play to Showcase 2010 Spring Talent
With the launch of the 2010 spring season, the Penn State men's golf team will travel to the sunshine state for the second annual Big Ten Match Play Championships. The two-day tournament will once again be played at The Heron Bay Golf Club in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., on Feb. 12-13th. Foley Finishes in top 20 at No.1 Nationally Ranked Tournament
The Western Refining College All-American Golf Classic wrapped up play today as Nittany Lion, Kevin Foley, tied for 20th. Foley Accepts Second Consecutive Invitation to Western Refining College All-American Golf Classic
Senior standout Kevin Foley (Somerville, N.J.) has been invited back to the 35th annual Western Refining College All-American Golf Classic for the second consecutive year. The Golf Classic, hosted by the Sun Bowl Association has been ranked No. 1 in the country for five years according to the Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index. The tournament will take place Nov. 22-24 at the par-71, 6,837-yard El Paso Country Club in El Paso, Texas. Read More >>

Senior Kevin Foley (Somerville, N.J.) tied his all-time low-score, 65, in the final round of the Renaissance Invitational to finish in second place, two strokes back from Alex Martin of Indiana. Penn State men's golf team rallied this morning in the final round carding a 276, placing second, two strokes back from tournament champion Indiana. After years of planning the Penn State men's golf team is anxious to announce the start of the new Varsity Team Center Clubhouse construction. The Clubhouse will be located near the 18th green of the Blue Course. The new facility will be designed exclusively for the members of the golf teams. Construction is scheduled to be completed May 30, 2010. .
