Huntzinger is ready to defend his individual title at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate

Fall 2017: Competed in all four events in the fall season…Played 12 rounds with a 70.3 average…Finished in the top 10 individually in three tournaments…Matched his career-low round of 64 in the second round of the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate, which was also the team’s season low.

Sophomore Year (2016-17): Competed in all 12 events and averaged a 72.1 in 32 rounds...Won the Bank of Tennessee intercollegiate with a 13-under 203 (66-68-69)...Recorded five top-five finishes on the season…Selected to All-Big Ten first team.

Freshman Year (2015-16): Competed in all 10 events for the Lions and finished season with a team-best 71.1 average in 28 rounds… Registered four top-10 and seven top-20 finishes…Won Rutherford Intercollegiate with a 10-under 203 (70-67-66)…Carded season-low round of 64 during second round of Kingsmill Intercollegiate. 

Before Penn State: Two-time Georgia Class AAAAAA State Champion…Twice selected the Gwinnett Daily Post Class AAAAAA Player of the Year…2015 All-Region team…Member of the 2015 All-State team…2015 FootJoy Invitational Champion. 

Personal: Born March 18, 1997…Resides in Duluth, Georgia…Parents are Kurt and Kristine…Has one sister, Alexis, and one brother, Clark…Majoring in recreation, park, and tourism management.
