With 27 Nittany Lions on National Football League rosters, Penn State is well represented in the professional ranks. Each week throughout the year, www.GoPSUsports.com will provide updates on the exploits of these former Nittany Lion greats. Top performances from week nine of the 2012 season included linebacker Tamba Hali's (Kansas City) nine tackles (six solo), including one sack, against the Chargers and defensive end Cameron Wake's (Miami) four tackles, one sack and a forced fumble against the Colts.

Navorro Bowman (2007-09), LB, San Francisco 49ers

Through nine weeks, Bowman ranks 15th in the league with 68 tackles (42 solo). He has also collected one interception.

Brackett was placed on injured reserve Sept. 4.

Levi Brown (2003-06), OT, Arizona Cardinals
Green Bay 31, Arizona 17
Brown was placed on injured reserve Aug. 24.

Dan Connor (2004-07), LB, Dallas Cowboys
Atlanta 19, Dallas 13
Connor was inactive against the Falcons.

Jack Crawford (2008-11), DE, Oakland Raiders
Tampa Bay 42, Oakland 32
Crawford was inactive against the Buccaneers.

Robbie Gould (2001-04), K, Chicago Bears
Chicago 51, Tennessee 20
Gould made three field goals for the Bears, connecting on tries from 40, 25 and 22 yards. He also converted on all six extra points.

Tamba Hali (2002-05), LB, Kansas City Chiefs
San Diego 31, Kansas City 13
Hali tied a game high with nine tackles (six solo), including one sack, against the Chargers.

Odrick recorded four stops (three solo), including one tackle for loss, against the Colts.

Rich Ohrnberger (2006-08), OL, Arizona Cardinals

Ohrnberger started at right guard and played every offensive snap as the Cardinals gained 340 yards against the Packers.

Paul Posluszny (2003-06), LB, Jacksonville Jaguars

Posluszny led all players with eight tackles (seven solo) against the Lions.

Andrew Quarless (2006-09), TE, Green Bay Packers

Quarless, who is recovering from a knee injury sustained in Dec. 2011, was played on the team's PUP list Aug. 27.

Michael Robinson (2002-05), FB, Seattle Seahawks

Robinson rushed three times for two yards and caught two passes for 22 yards.

Evan Royster (2007-10), Washington Redskins

Royster rushed four times for six yards and a touchdown and also caught three passes for 30 yards.

Scott made two tackles, including one special-teams stop, against the Texans.

Tim Shaw (2002, 2004-06), LB, Tennessee Titans

Shaw collected four tackles (two solo) against the Bears.

A.Q. Shipley (2005-08), C, Indianapolis Colts
Indianapolis 23, Miami 20
Shipley played the majority of snaps at center for the Colts, helping Indianapolis outgain Miami by a 516-365 margin.

Devon Still (2009-11), DT, Cincinnati Bengals

Still recorded five tackles (two solo) against the Broncos.

Nate Stupar (2008-11), LB, Oakland Raiders

Stupar signed with the Oakland Raiders' practice squad on Sept. 1.

Troutman was placed on the reserve, non-football injury list on Aug. 27.

Wake recorded four tackles, including one sack, and a forced fumble against the Colts.

Stefan Wisniewski (2007-10), OL, Oakland Raiders
Tampa Bay 42, Oakland 32
Wisniewski started at center for the fifth straight game and helped the Raiders gain 424 yards.
