UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.; - ABC will nationally televise Penn State's Big Ten clash with rival Ohio State on Saturday, October 27. Kickoff is set for 8:00 p.m. ET at a sold out Beaver Stadium.
The primetime contest with the Buckeyes will be the Nittany Lions' ninth TV appearance of the season. The No. 25 Nittany Lions (5-2, 2-2) will be making their fourth appearance of the season on ABC, which televised Penn State's 38-7 thumping of then-No. 19 Wisconsin last Saturday, as well as the Nittany Lions' games against Michigan and Iowa. Ohio State hosts Michigan State on Saturday before visiting State College.
In their 15th season of Big Ten competition, the Nittany Lions have appeared on television in 158 of their last 160 games. Future Penn State contests may be selected by the networks under the six and 12-day provisions of their contracts with the Big Ten.
