With 27 Nittany Lions on National Football League rosters, Penn State is well represented in the professional ranks. Each week throughout the year, www.GoPSUsports.com will provide updates on the exploits of these former Nittany Lion greats. Top performances from week five of the 2012 season included linebacker Tamba Hali's (Kansas City) two-sack game, wide receiver Jordan Norwood's (Cleveland) nine-reception performance and defensive end Cameron Wake's five tackles (two solo) and one sack against the Bengals.

San Francisco 45, Buffalo 3
Bowman collected four tackles (three solo), including one stop for a loss, in the 49ers' win against the Bills.

Brett Brackett (2007-10), TE, Jacksonville Jaguars
Chicago 41, Jacksonville 3
Brackett was placed on injured reserve Sept. 4.

Levi Brown (2003-06), OT, Arizona Cardinals
St. Louis 17, Arizona 3
Brown was placed on injured reserve Aug. 24.

Dan Connor (2004-07), LB, Dallas Cowboys

Connor has registered six tackles (five solo) during the 2012 season.

Jack Crawford (2008-11), DE, Oakland Raiders
BYE
Crawford has recorded two tackles (one solo) during the 2012 season.

Robbie Gould (2001-04), K, Chicago Bears
Chicago 41, Jacksonville 3
Gould connected on field goals from 32 and 31 yards in the Bears' win against the Jaguars. He was also a perfect 5-for-5 on extra points.

Hali led the Chiefs with six tackles, including two sacks, against the Ravens.

Josh Hull (2006-09), LB, St. Louis Rams
St. Louis 17, Arizona 3
Hull made one special-teams tackle against the Cardinals.

Justin King (2005-07), CB, Indianapolis Colts
Indianapolis 30, Green Bay 27
King was inactive against the Packers.

Dennis Landolt (2007-09), OT, New York Jets
Houston 23, New York Jets 17
Landolt was signed to the New York Jets' practice squad on Sept. 27.

Sean Lee (2005-07, 2009), LB, Dallas Cowboys

Through five weeks, Lee ranks seventh in the NFL with 47 tackles (29 solo). He has also registered one interception and a forced fumble.

Maybin saw limited action as part of the linebacker rotation for the Jets.

New York Giants 41, Cleveland 27
Norwood led the Browns with nine receptions for 81 yards against the Giants. He also rushed once for one yard.

Odrick recorded half a sack and two tackles against the Bengals.

Rich Ohrnberger (2006-08), OL, Arizona Cardinals

Ohrnberger was part of the offensive line rotation against the Rams.

Paul Posluszny (2003-06), LB, Jacksonville Jaguars

Posluszny led all players with nine tackles (eight solo) against the Bears.

Andrew Quarless (2006-09), TE, Green Bay Packers

Quarless, who is recovering from a knee injury sustained in Dec. 2011, was played on the team's PUP list Aug. 27.

Robinson rushed twice for three yards and also made one reception.

Evan Royster (2007-10), Washington Redskins

Royster made one catch for seven yards against the Falcons.

Bryan Scott (1999-2002), LB, Buffalo Bills

Scott accumulated three stops against the 49ers.

Minnesota 30, Tennessee 7
Shaw was inactive against the Vikings.

A.Q. Shipley (2005-08), C, Indianapolis Colts
Indianapolis 30, Green Bay 27
In his first game with the Colts, Shipley started at center during the team's 30-27 upset victory against the Packers.

Devon Still (2009-11), DT, Cincinnati Bengals

Still collected two tackles against the Dolphins.
