UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.; - ESPN or ESPN2 will nationally televise Penn State's Big Ten contest at Indiana on October 20. Kickoff is set for 12:00 p.m. ET at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington.
A determination on whether ESPN or ESPN2 will air the game will be announced no later than Oct. 15.
The contest with the Hoosiers is the ninth announced TV appearance of the season Penn State. Saturday's Homecoming clash with No. 15 Wisconsin will air be an ABC regional telecast at 3:30 p.m., with other markets across the nation receiving the game on ESPN. All Penn State fans are encouraged to bring a white towel to the contest with the Badgers.
The Nittany Lions (4-2, 1-2) will be making their second appearance of the season on ESPN, which also aired Penn State's 31-10 primetime win over Notre Dame on Sept. 8. Penn State's Oct. 27 clash with Ohio State will air on ABC, ESPN or ESPN at 8:00 p.m. from Happy Valley.
ABC televised the Nittany Lions' games against Michigan and Iowa and Penn State has appeared on the Big Ten Network against FIU, Buffalo and Illinois.
Penn State and Indiana (5-1, 2-1) will be meeting for the first time since the Nittany Lions won 22-18 in 2004 on a dramatic goal line stand in the final minutes. The Nittany Lions lead the series, 10-0.
In their 15th season of Big Ten competition, the Nittany Lions have appeared on television in 157 of their last 159 games. Future Penn State contests may be selected by the networks under the six and 12-day provisions of their contracts with the Big Ten.

Penn State defeated Iowa, 27-7, on Saturday, while Indiana, beat Minnesota, 40-20 to improve to 5-1 overall. The Hoosiers visit Michigan State prior to hosting the Nittany Lions.
