"My Penn State Student Ticket Manager", readily accessible via GoPSUsports.com/tickets is the place for all Penn State students to manage their personal ticket account. This on-line, fully secure, 24-hour service is now your home to sell, buy, forward, receive and block (as a group) student tickets.
Each student will have a personal "My Penn State Student Ticket Manager" account, which can be established by clicking this link and then by clicking "Forgot My Password". Enter your 9 digit PSU ID number; click "email password" and you will be emailed your personal PIN number to the Penn State email address that the University Registrar has on file for you. (This includes Penn College Students).
You can now access your account by clicking this link and entering your Enter your 9 digit PSU ID number and your issued password. You are now prepared to learn and take advantage of. "My Penn State Student Ticket Manager".
Below are the Account Manager features available to you, but first an important reminder: Tickets will be automatically associated with your Penn State id+ Card if you successfully received a student ticket during the June sale. If you purchased a 2009 season ticket, come to the game with your ID, swipe your card at the gate, and follow the stadium directions to your seat.
"My Penn State Student Ticket Manager" Features and Options
Student Ticket Exchange "Selling" - Can't make it to the game? Sell your ticket on Student Ticket Exchange. Tickets sold on Student Ticket Exchange can only be purchased by another Penn State Student, and once that ticket is purchased, it cannot be resold.
To sell a ticket to a specific game, log into, "My Penn State Student Ticket Manager" account, find the individual game you wish to sell, cancel the PID (Personal Identification Device) for that game, select your ticket and click on the "Sell" button. select your ticket and click on the "Sell" button. Determine the price of the ticket (Minimum of $30 and maximum of $60). Please note that the Buyer will be charged a 15% fee based on the price of the posted ticket. There are no fees incurred by the student selling the ticket. Once a student purchases your ticket, that ticket will no longer be associated with the student's Penn State id+ Card that purchased the ticket. It will now be associated with the student's Penn State id+ Card that purchased the ticket. The funds associated with the successful sale will be reflected on the seller's "My Penn State Student Ticket Manager" account and will be added to the student's LionCash+ account within one week after the completed transaction. Students who do not have LionCash+ will receive the amount owed them from the ticket sales in the form of a check prior to January 1, 2010. Students are only permitted one transaction--Selling, Buying, Forwarding or Receiving a forwarded ticket--on their "My Penn State Student Ticket Manager" account per game, i.e. once a student sells a ticket, they may not purchase another ticket for that individual game.
If your ticket is not sold, that individual game PID (Personal Identification Device) will automatically be re-associated with your Penn State id+ Card after 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday prior to the home game.
Student Ticket Exchange "Buying" - Now all Penn State students have the opportunity to log on and try to receive a ticket to an upcoming game via Student Ticket Exchange. Individual student game tickets will be posted for sale on our Student Ticket Exchange by Penn State student season ticket holders. You can enter Student Ticket Exchange and purchase one ticket by clicking here. Find the individual game that you want to attend, select a ticket (if tickets are available) and click on the "Buy" button. The price of all available tickets is established by the Seller and is listed between a minimum price of $30 and a maximum price of $60 (not including processing fees). Once a ticket is purchased, that ticket will no longer be associated with the Seller's Penn State id+ Card, but will now be associated with the Buyer's Penn State id+ Card. You can now swipe your ID card at the student gate for the game/games you have purchased. You must use a valid credit card to purchase any tickets through the Student Ticket Exchange. In addition to the price of the ticket, you will be charged a 15% processing fee at time of purchase, i.e. you purchase the ticket for $30, and the additional processing fee will be $4.50. Forwarding Your Ticket - Penn State Student Football Season Ticket Holders can forward versus sell an individual game ticket to another Penn State student at no charge (except handling fee paid by recipient). To forward your individual game ticket, you will log into your "My Penn State Student Ticket Manager" account, find the individual game that you want to forward, cancel the PID (Personal Identification Device) for that game, select your ticket and click on the "Forward" button. Forwarding tickets can only be done student-to-student and you must have the student's name and official Penn State e-mail address. Once a student receives your forwarded ticket, that ticket will now be associated with that student's Penn State id+ Card. Students who already have an individual game ticket associated with their Penn State id+ Card will not be eligible to receive a forwarded ticket. The recipient will be sent an email invitation to accept your individual game ticket. Once they accept a forwarded ticket, that ticket will no longer be associated with your Penn State id+ Card. There will be a $1.95 fee associated with forwarding a ticket. The recipient will be responsible for the fee. The fee must be paid by valid credit card or the forwarding transaction will be voided. Guest tickets for non Penn State students -
NOTE- SEPTEMBER 2, 2009- "Effective immediately, guest tickets for student guests can only be purchased at the Bryce Jordan Center main lobby at the student guest windows. Student guest tickets can only be purchased on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Penn State students can continue to bring a non-student guest into a game. To bring a non-student guest, the Penn State student looking for the additional ticket must go to the Athletic Ticket Office at the Bryce Jordan Center during normal business hours (Monday - Friday, 10AM - 4:30 PM), but no later than Thursday at 4:00 p.m. the week of the home game. The non-student ticket, if available via Student Ticket Exchange, will be purchased by a ticket office representative in the presence of the requesting student. The student requesting the ticket must have a valid credit card for payment at that time and will pay the posted Student Ticket Exchange price for the ticket, a 15% processing fee based on the price of the posted ticket and an additional $29 to validate the ticket for use by a non-Penn State student. The requesting student will now have two (2) tickets associated with their Penn State id+ Card. The student and his/her guest must enter Gate A together for the game, as the ID card will reflect two valid entrants when swiped.

All non-student tickets must be purchased at the Athletic Ticket Office at the Bryce Jordan Center.
The maximum tickets associated with your Penn State id+ Card for any individual game is two (2). Each Penn State student is allowed only one non student guest per game.

Advance Group Seating - Create a Group Sit with your friends (minimum of 10) within the student section! To be a group leader, log into your "My Penn State Student Ticket Manager" account, find the individual game you are creating a group, cancel the PID (Personal Identification Device) for that game, return to ticket management, click "Home" on the left side of the page and scroll down to the bottom left corner of the page to the Student Group Seating section. Click on "Create a Club Group" and follow these linked instructions.
Share the group name and password you create so that friends can join your group and you all will sit together within the student section!
Advance Group Seating - Join a Group Once a group leader has emailed you an invitation to join his/her group, you may now join and sit with your friends (minimum of 10) within the student section. To join a group, log into your "My Penn State Student Ticket Manager", find the individual game you are joining a group, cancel the PID (Personal Identification Device) for that game, return to ticket management, click "Home" on the left side of the page and scroll down to the bottom left corner of the page to the Student Group Seating section. Click on View or Join a Club Group and follow these linked instructions.
Advance Group Seating - Edit my Group Selection Call 814-863-1000
All Advance Group Seating must be finalized by Noon on the Wednesday prior to any Penn State home game. Group leaders must pick up the tickets at the Athletic Ticket Office in the Bryce Jordan Center during normal business hours, from 12:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Thursday of game week and from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Friday of game week.
Selling a Student Ticket
1. Log into your "My Penn State Student Ticket Manager"
2. Under Quick Links, click on manage my tickets
3. Under Select an Event, use the dropdown to select the individual game ticket you would like to post for Sale
4. See screen shot of the status of your ticket. Click "Cancel" to disassociate your PID (Personal Identification Device) from your ticket. This allows the sale or forwarding process to continue
5. On the Cancel Option screen, click "Continue"
6. See screen shot "Cancel Transfer Verification" (you will also receive an email), click "Continue"
7. See screen shot "Transfer Cancelled", click "Return to Ticket Management"
8. Under Select an Event, use the dropdown to select the individual game ticket you would like to post for Sale. Check the box next to the seat you would like to sell
9. Click "Sell"
10. Set the Price you wish to sell the ticket (Minimum $30 - Maximum $60)
11. Ticket will remain for sale until expiration time. You may edit or cancel before the expiration time.
12. Click "Continue"
13. You will see a screen shot of "Post Tickets - Verify Information"

16. You will receive a confirmation email to your psu.edu e mail address
17. You will receive an email when your ticket sells
18. If no students purchase your ticket , you will receive an email notifying you of this after the expiration of your offer (Thursday 5:00 PM prior to the home game you forwarded the tickets)
Buying a Student Ticket
1. Go to Student Central (http://www.gopsusports.com/studentcentral)
2. Go to the Student Ticket Exchange instructions and find the link under the Student Ticket Exchange - Buying section
3. Choose the individual game you would like to purchase and click on the "Buy" link
4. Review the listing of available seats and click on the "Buy Tickets" button next to that seat
5. Log into your "My Penn State Student Ticket Manager"
6. Under Select Delivery Method, click radio button for Paperless Ticket - Place my Ticket on Fan Card. Select dropdown and choose your student ID.
7. Have a valid credit card available to purchase the ticket on the billing page. After entering all billing information, click on the "Purchase Tickets" button.
8. You will receive a confirmation on the next screen as well as a confirmation e mail with a successful purchase.
9. The ticket for the individual game you purchased will be associated with your Penn State id+ Card.
10. You can now swipe your ID card at the student gate for the game/games you have purchased.
Forwarding a Student Ticket
1. Log into your "My Penn State Student Ticket Manager"
2. Under Quick Links, click on manage my tickets
3. Under Select an Event, use the dropdown to select the individual game ticket you would like to Forward
4. See screen shot of the status of your ticket. Click "Cancel" to disassociate your PID (Personal Identification Device) from your ticket. This allows the sale or forwarding process to continue
5. On the Cancel Option screen, click "Continue"

8. Under Select an Event, use the dropdown to select the individual game ticket you would like to Forward. Check the box next to the seat you would like to forward
9. Click "Forward"
10. Complete recipient information area
11. You will receive an automatic email for unclaimed tickets after 5:00 PM on the Thursday before the home game.
12. Click "Continue"
13. Under Fee Options - check the radio button noting the $1.95 fee to the recipient
14. Click "Continue"

16. If correct, click "email tickets"

18. You will receive an email to your psu.edu email address
19. If a student declines or does not act on your invitation, you will receive an email notifying you of this after the expiration of your offer (Thursday 5:00 PM prior to the home game you forwarded the tickets)
Receiving a Student Ticket
1. Student will receive an email invitation that another student is forwarding an individual game ticket to them
2. The student receiving the email will have the option to click on "Accept" or "Decline"
3. If "Decline", the student will receive a screen shot of "Verify Decline of Ticket Offer"
4. Click "Continue"
5. If "Accept", you then log into your "My Penn State Student Ticket Manager"
6. On ticket options page, click the radio button next to
Paperless Tickets
7. Under the dropdown, select your student ID
8. Click "Continue"
9. Enter billing information
10. Click "Accept Offer"
11. You will receive a confirmation on the next screen as well as a confirmation e mail with a successful purchase.
12. The ticket for the individual game you purchased will be associated with your Penn State id+ Card.
13. You can now swipe your ID card at the student gate for the game/games you have purchased.
Create a Group
Once the group leader clicks create a group, follow these instructions:
1. Log into your "My Penn State Student Ticket Manager"
2. Under Quick Links, click on manage my tickets
3. Under Select an Event, use the dropdown to select the individual game ticket you would like to Create a Group
4. See screen shot of the status of your ticket. Click "Cancel" to disassociate your PID (Personal Identification Device) from your ticket. This allows the ability to Create a Group to continue
5. On the Cancel Option screen, click "Continue"
6. See screen shot "Cancel Transfer Verification" (you will also receive an email), click "Continue"

8. Click "Home" on the left side of the page
9. Under Student Group Seating, "Click Create a Club Group"
10. Create group name
11. Create group password
12. Confirm group password
13. Check student box to make students eligible to join your group
14. Enter maximum number of seats for the group
15. Select the event(s) for which the group is available
16. Click continue
17. On the screen shot "Create your Student Group", confirm information is correct
18. Click create group
19. Group creation is confirmed
20. Receive e mail
Join a Group
Once you receive an e-mail to join a group, follow these instructions
1. Log into your "My Penn State Student Ticket Manager"
2. Under Quick Links, click on manage my tickets
3. Under Select an Event, use the dropdown to select the individual game ticket you would like to Join a Group
4. See screen shot of the status of your ticket. Click "Cancel" to disassociate your PID (Personal Identification Device) from your ticket. This allows the ability to Join a Group to continue
5. On the Cancel Option screen, click "Continue"
