Limited Number of Single Game Tickets Available for Nittany Lion Football Games

Alumni Sale Underway

STATE COLLEGE, Pa., July 26, 2004 - A limited number of single game tickets for the 2004 Penn State football season are on sale to alumni this week.

From July 26-30, Penn State alumni can place orders from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. On Saturday, July 31, alumni ticket orders will be taken from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Alumni will be asked for year of graduation. Should tickets remain after the alumni sale, the public sale of Nittany Lion single game tickets will begin on Monday, August 2, 2004. Orders will be accepted from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

If tickets remain after the public sale, group sales will begin on Friday, August 6 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

The phone numbers to call for the Alumni, public and group sales are: 814-865-5555 or 800-863-3336. Alumni and public ticket sales will be accepted by phone only.

Tickets for Penn State's initial two home games of the 2004 season, Sept. 4 versus Akron (3:30 p.m.) and Sept. 18 against the University of Central Florida (12:10 p.m.) have been returned by both schools and are on sale at www.GoPSUsports.com, the official website of Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics.

Individual Home Game Ticket Process

Priority is given to members of the Nittany Lion Club who are NOT season ticket holders and to members who do not purchase the number of season tickets to which they are entitled according to their gift category.

After Nittany Lion Club priorities are met, any remaining home game tickets will be distributed to Alumni. Any remaining home game tickets would then be made available to the public.

AWAY GAME TICKETS
Individual Away Game Ticket Process

�� A limited number of tickets are made available to Penn State Alumni Chapters in the area in which the game is played. Distribution of these tickets is handled by the Athletic Ticket Office with the cooperation of the Penn State Alumni Association Office.

A small number of tickets for some away games will be made available through tours sponsored jointly by the Nittany Lion Club and the Alumni Association.

Priority for the remainder of tickets is given to members of the Nittany Lion Club. Applications will be processed based on the Nittany Lion Club point system.

After distribution priorities are met, any remaining away game tickets will be distributed to Alumni. Any remaining home game tickets would then be made available to the public.
