UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The unofficial kickoff to the 2013 Big Ten football season has arrived. The 42nd Annual Big Ten Kickoff will take place on Wednesday and Thursday in Chicago.
blog_kickoff.jpgGoPSUsports.com will be there to cover all of the action. Head coach Bill O'Brien, senior guard John Urschel, senior linebacker Glenn Carson and senior safety Malcolm Willis will represent Penn State in Chicago.
The two-day event will be filled with interviews and press conferences with a wide variety of national media outlets. The BTN and ESPNU will have extensive coverage on TV. BTN will present five hours of live coverage of Big Ten football media days on Wednesday, airing the press conferences for all 12 coaches, BTN President Mark Silverman, Tournament of Roses President Scott Jenkins and Big Ten Commissioner Jim Delany. Mike Hall and Derek Rackley will host the network's coverage beginning at 11 a.m. ET live on BTN and on BTN2Go.
Coverage by ESPNU will begin at 11 a.m. ET on Wednesday with coverage of the press conferences featuring all 12 head coaches. In addition, select Big Ten coaches and players will appear live on ESPN's SportsCenter or College Football Live.

Wednesday, July 24
- All 12 coaches, Big Ten Commissioner Jim Delany, BTN President Mark Silverman and Big Ten Coordinator of Football Officials Bill Carollo will address the media in press conferences.
2:15 p.m.-2:30 p.m. ET - Bill O'Brien Press Conference
Thursday, July 25
- All 12 coaches and three players from each team will be open to reporters for interviewing from 9-11 a.m. ET.
- BTN's Dave Revsine will emcee the 42nd Annual Big Ten Kickoff luncheon at 12:30 p.m. ET.
