UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., June 14, 2006 - The State College Quarterback Club is now accepting membership dues for the 2006 Penn State football season and announced the kickoff date for the Club's weekly luncheons. The Quarterback Club will begin its weekly luncheons on Wednesday, August 30, at The Mount Nittany Club in Beaver Stadium. The luncheons, held during the football season, feature Penn State coach Joe Paterno and members of the squad each week. There will be 12 luncheons through November 15. All Quarterback Club members will receive a parking pass, which is valid for the Upper portion of Lot 44, just across the street and south of the stadium. In addition, handicapped spaces will be available in the Bryce Jordan Center ADA Lot and Stadium West. Spaces will be reserved for the Club luncheons on a first-come, first-served basis. The luncheons will feature a different buffet each week, with a selection of sandwiches, salads, soup, dessert and beverages at all luncheons. The lunch and program are $13 per person for members and $20 per person for a guest who may attend only one time per year. The doors to the Mount Nittany Club will open at 11:00 a.m. Registration will take place in the Mount Nittany Club and the main entrance for club members will be through Gate B on the west side of the stadium. The entrance to the Penn State All-Sports Museum is available as an ADA entrance or in case of inclimate weather. Membership in the Quarterback Club is limited to the first 500 who send their tax deductible dues of $50 per person or $80 per married couple.
