STATE COLLEGE, Pa., May 3, 1999 -- The Blue-White football game in the year 2000 will be played approximately 10 days earlier next spring than this year's game. Next year's spring practice windup will be held on Saturday, April 15, in Beaver Stadium.

The time is to be announced.

The change was made to avoid a conflict with Easter, which falls on April 23 next year, and the April 29 start of study days for spring semester final examinations.
