UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Fans attending Penn State's Blue-White Game presented by AAA should be aware of some changes to gameday parking around Beaver Stadium. Fans also will have an opportunity pre-print a parking pass for Saturday's contest.
The Blue-White Game will kick at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 21 in Beaver Stadium. Parking lots will open at 8:00 a.m. Gates A & B will open for fans at 11:30 a.m. for the autograph session, which begins at 12:00 p.m. Gates C & E will open at 12:30 p.m. Gameday parking and admission to the Blue-White Game are free.
On Friday, Penn State Uplifting Athletes will sponsor a dunk tank featuring several current football squad members, with proceeds benefiting the Kidney Cancer Association. The dunk tank will be located west of Beaver Stadium near Curtin Road and run from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Penn State Uplifting Athletes and its Lift for Life event has raised more than $600,000 for kidney cancer awareness and assistance since 2003.
Parking and tailgating rules and the list of prohibited items in Beaver Stadium remain the same for the Blue-White Game as a regular season football game. Backpacks, strollers and umbrellas are among the items not permitted in the stadium. The overnight RV parking lot (Lots 19-20) will open Friday at 8 a.m. and close Saturday at 4 a.m. The cost is $60 for the weekend (cash only). The overnight RV lot is the only Intercollegiate Athletics' football parking lot that will charge a fee this weekend.
On Saturday, traffic management staff and parkers will direct cars and RVs to the lots closest to the stadium. Several parking lots will be unavailable due to construction and other weekend activities. Fans are asked to please follow as directed to the closest available parking lot.
Fans attending the Blue-White Game can pre-print a parking pass that will assist the traffic management staff and parkers in identifying vehicles that are attending the game. Fans who are unable to print the parking pass in advance of the Blue-White Game are asked to turn on their flashers as they approach the stadium parking lots to assist the traffic management staff and parkers in identifying vehicles that are attending the game.
ADA parking will be located in the South lot (Red Reserved lot) nearest to Curtin Road and the Medlar Field parking lot (Purple Reserved lot) nearest to Porter Road. There will be no ADA shuttle service, but there are accessible paths from these lots to the stadium.
Athletics Customer Relations representatives will be available to Blue-White gameday fans beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday through one hour after the game ends. For assistance, fans can call 1-800-NITTANY (1-800-648-8269).
A carnival, food vendors, live music and fireworks are Friday from 6-10 p.m. adjacent to Beaver Stadium. Head coach Bill O'Brien will announce the winner of the WingFest contest Friday at 8:45 p.m. at the entertainment stage west of Beaver Stadium. The carnival and other events, run Saturday from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. and the carnival runs on Sunday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Also on Saturday, fans interested in purchasing Penn State season tickets will have an opportunity to view sections where seats are available for the 2012 season. From 12:00-7:00 p.m., fans can meet ticket office representatives on the Beaver Stadium concourse at Sections NA and SA to view sections where seats are available for the seven-game home schedule, that includes Ohio State, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Indiana, Navy, Temple and Sept. 1 season opening opponent Ohio. Five of the seven home opponents played in a bowl game last season.

The Blue-White Game will air on the Penn State Sports Network with Steve Jones and Jack Ham calling the action. ESPN Radio 1450 and WBUS (93.7) in State College are among the nearly 30 affiliates carrying the contest. The game will air Saturday at 8 p.m. on BTN.
