UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Fans attending the Blue-White Game presented by AAA should be aware of some changes for the autograph session and to gameday parking around Beaver Stadium. Fans also will have an opportunity pre-print a parking pass for the contest.
The Blue-White Game presented by AAA will kick at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 12 in Beaver Stadium. Parking lots will open at 8:00 a.m. and the team will arrive at the south tunnel at approximately 10:30 a.m. Gates A & B will open for fans at 10:30 a.m. for the autograph session, which runs from 10:45-11:30 a.m. Gates C & F will open at 12:00 p.m. Gameday parking and admission to the Blue-White Game are free.
The players will be permitted to sign one item per person to give as many fans as possible an opportunity to meet the squad. A team poster will be available at the stadium gates, while supplies last, for the players to sign during the autograph session and for other fans attending the game. There will also be a blank page for autographs in the Blue-White Game program that will be sold outside and inside Beaver Stadium before the game. The players will not be available for photographs prior to the game.
All RV parking for the Blue-White Game will be located northeast of Beaver Stadium in the designated RV lot. Access to the RV lot will only by from westbound Park Avenue off I-99/U.S. 322 interchange, which is a change from previous years. There will be an ADA shuttle from the RV lot to Beaver Stadium for those patrons in need of assistance.
The overnight RV parking lot (Lots 19-20) will open Friday at 8 a.m. and close Saturday at 4 a.m. The cost is $60 for the weekend (cash only). The overnight RV lot is the only Intercollegiate Athletics' football parking lot that will charge a fee this weekend.
The gameday Woolrich Fan Festival, with numerous displays, vendors and interactive events for kids, will begin at 9 a.m. and be located on Curtin Road near Beaver Stadium, as it is during the season.
The Penn State Athletics bag policy will be in affect for the Blue-White Game as it is for all home athletic events. Except for authorized personnel, no one entering Beaver Stadium on April 12 will be permitted to bring in any bags, backpacks, umbrellas, footballs, strollers, purses or diaper bags. Anyone with a medical need to carry a bag should place their medical supplies in a clear, one gallon, zip-close style plastic bag. Parents with a need to carry diapers and wipes also may place their supplies in a clear, one-gallon zip-close style plastic bag so the contents are visible. General items that don't fit in a patrons' pockets (i.e. keys, cell phone, wallet, glasses, camera, sunscreen, lip balm, make-up) can also be placed in a clear plastic one-gallon plastic bag
Fans attending the Blue-White Game can pre-print a parking pass that will assist the traffic management staff and parkers in identifying vehicles that are attending the game. The parking pass and parking map are also located at Blue-White Central.
