Greg Miskinis is another member of the fraternity of Central Pennsylvania players who dreamed of playing for the Nittany Lions and walked on to earn a spot on the team. A reserve tight end, Miskinis was a standout at nearby Indian Valley HS. He has very good size and hands and will be in the mix for playing time on offense. He saw action in the wins over Florida International and Wisconsin last season and continues to bring a great work ethic and attitude to the practice field each day in his quest to garner more playing time. Miskinis is a potential Academic All-Big Ten candidate who is on schedule to graduate in December.

Miskinis saw his hard work rewarded with playing time in the wins over Florida International and Wisconsin.
High School
An all-around athlete, lettering in football, basketball, and track, Miskinis played football his final two seasons for Coach Gawen Stoker at Indian Valley HS. A team captain, Miskinis earned all-conference honors on the gridiron. A prolific basketball player, he was a member of the Skip Coleman and Warrior Classic all-tournament teams and earned all-conference honors. A basketball team captain, he was the team MVP and was runner-up for the best player in Mifflin County. Miskinis began his high school career at Lewistown HS.
Personal
Full name is Gregory John Miskinis. He is the son of George and Cynthia Miskinis and has a sister, Gabrielle, who played basketball at Bucknell and Bloomsburg. His mother graduated from Penn State's College of Education and both parents are teachers. He enjoys video games. Miskinis is majoring in kinesiology. Born March 17, 1986 in Franklin, Pa.
