The Nittany Lions return all five offensive line starters from a unit that improved and was highly productive as the 2007 season unfolded. At least three of the unit's starters will be seniors this year, making the development of depth a critical component throughout 2008. Josh Marks is among the candidates to earn time in the rotation and enters his first season on the field after making steady progress during his redshirt year. He has tremendous physical attributes and skills and is working hard to have an impact this season. He finished spring drills as the top reserve at tight guard to Stefen Wisniewski. Marks was a three-time first-team Class A all-state selection at Southern Columbia HS and was instrumental in helping his team win four consecutive state titles.
