He is listed No. 2 on the depth chart to senior Jordan Hill at one of the tackle positions and should have an opportunity to earn considerable playing time in the critical interior line rotation. A redshirt sophomore, Baublitz has very good size, skills and work ethic and made great progress during spring practice and off-season conditioning. He finished the spring semester with a 3.16 cumulative grade-point average and is a potential Academic All-Big Ten candidate. The former Central York High School standout enrolled in the University in January 2010.
