Developing depth at fullback will be among the positions of note as the 2008 season unfolds. Dan Lawlor is in his senior season and is the only fullback with much experience entering the season. Larry Federoff played in nine games last season on offense and special teams and has an opportunity to emerge as the top reserve at fullback. Federoff has good skills and strength. He transferred to Penn State after playing at Edinboro University.

2007 Junior Season
Federoff saw playing time in nine games on offense and special teams. He had two carries for two yards against Florida International.

High School
Playing for coach Dave Vestal at Hopewell HS, Federoff was a first-team All-Parkway Conference selection his senior year. He rushed for 480 yards on 70 carries (6.8) with six touchdowns and made 10 catches for 115 yards as a senior. On defense, he made 40 stops with five sacks. He was a team captain and was named Hopewell's MVP his senior season. Federoff also was a three-year member of the golf team.

Full name is Larry Patrick Federoff. He is the son of Larry and Patty Federoff and has one sister, Annie, who plays volleyball at Alderson-Broaddus College. He is majoring in economics and enjoys golf and fishing. Born March 30, 1987 in Denver, Colo.
