Nittany Lions Host Senior Day on Saturday Versus Badgers

  • Salomone will look to add depth to a deep corps of talent and compete for a spot on special teams.
  • A team-first athlete, the hard-working Salomone has played a significant role on the scout team during his three seasons on campus. He saw game action for the first time in 2014 during the UMass game.
  • Salomone was honored with the Frank Patrick Total Commitment Award in the spring, which goes to the junior class member who consistently displays a total commitment to academics, offseason preparation and community service.
  • Salomone was named Scout Team Special Teams Player of the Year by the coaching staff in 2014.
  • One of the team’s top students, Salomone carries a stellar 3.82 cumulative grade-point average and is a Dean’s List honoree.
  • Salomone is one of 13 returning Nittany Lions from Central Pennsylvania.
