A wide receiver, Cousins is working hard to return to the field after suffering a knee injury during 2007 winter conditioning that kept him out of spring practice, followed by another nagging injury during the season. A talented athlete, Cousins made good progress during spring drills and will look to battle Brett Brackett for the top reserve spot behind returning senior starter Deon Butler at one of the wideout spots. Cousins is one of five returning Nittany Lions from Virginia.
