Redshirt sophomore C.J. Olaniyan brings excellent physical attributes and potential to the field, flashing some of his abilities with a three-sack performance in the Blue-White game. With the graduation of Jack Crawford and Eric Latimore, he should have an opportunity for a more significant role in the defensive end rotation. He appeared in six games in 2011 and recorded three tackles, all solo, during his redshirt freshman season. Olaniyan is one of three returning Nittany Lions from Michigan.
