Selected Penn State over Kansas, Maryland, Purdue, Syracuse, Temple, Virginia Tech

"Brailyn is one of the most athletic football players I have ever coached. His versatility was evident as he played almost every position on the football field for the Bobcats. He played quarterback, running back, wide receiver, nose guard, outside linebacker, corner and as a return specialist. His motor off the ball was evident and wreaked havoc on opponent offenses behind the line of scrimmage highlighted by his 30-plus sacks and 50-plus tackles for loss in only two years. He is one of the most decorated football players in school history with back-to-back All-State performances and the first major FBS recruit in school history at Battlefield High School."
