All-American 2004

Senior Ian Farr will look to return to his All-America status claimed as a sophomore in 2004. Coming off a solid junior year, he will look to return to nationals after missing out in 2005-06.

Lion Career:
2005-06:
Farr had a solid dual match season, posting a 27-6 record with marks of 6-5, 9-1 and 12-0 over the course of the year. He placed sixth at the Mid-Atlantic/South Regional championships and was an alternate for nationals.
2004-05:
Farr posted a 24-9 mark as a sophomore, notching a .727 win percentage and winning the Mid-Atlantic/South Regional title. However, early upsets at nationals kept him out of the medal hunt and All-America status.
2003-04:
Farr went 15-6 in the regular season, including a 7-2 record down the stretch for Penn State in February. Farr then stormed the field at the Mid-Atlantic/South Regionals to claim the regional title and earn a spot in the NCAA Championships. At NCAAs, he placed fifth to become an All-American as a freshman.

High School/Personal:
Farr earned four letters in fencing at Oregon Episcopal School in Portland, Oregon. He is planning on earning a psychology major at Penn State.
