LION CAREER:
2011-12: Chamley-Watson took the collegiate season off to pursue a spot on the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team. It paid off as he qualified for the third spot on the U.S. Men's Foil Team.
2010-11: For the third consecutive year, Chamley-Watson fenced his way to All-American honors. The Junior was the runner up at the NCAA Championships this year and finished the regular season 14-7.
2009-10: For the second year in a row, Chamley-Watson fenced his way to the NCAA Championship semi-finals. Tying for third, Chamley-Watson earned himself his second All American title.
2008-09: Chamley-Watson had an auspicious Penn State debut, blazing through the regular season with a 24-2 mark in the foil before winning the Mid-Atlantic/South Regional crown. Chamley-Watson then turned that strong performance into a third-place finish at nationals, becoming a freshman All-American for the Nittany Lions.
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL:
The London native fenced for head coach Simon Gershon at the Fencers Club. He played soccer in 9th and 10th grade and was a Tri-County Champion. He was crowned a Junior Olympic Champion, the Under 20 World Champion, and a National Champion. He was also part of the Senior World Championship team, and 2008 Pan American Championship Team. He plans on majoring in business and finance.
