Penn State Coaches Show Featuring Patrick Chambers Begins Thursday

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – “The Penn State Coaches Show Featuring Patrick Chambers Presented by Pepsi” begins this week with the program carried live on 40-plus affiliates and on LionVision on The one-hour program at Primanti Bros. takes place every Thursday at 6:05 p.m. from November 30 through early March. Fans are welcome to attend in person or listen live on LionVision on

For fans attending the live show at Primanti Bros., the Thursday evening special is a three-topping pizza, family-style salad and pitcher of soda for just $20. Appetizer portions of wings, wedges and tater tots can be added to the special for $5 each. Parking is available in the Garner Street Parking lot and on-street parking is available nearby.

Men’s basketball coach Patrick Chambers will be the featured guest through the beginning of March.

In addition to Chambers, “The Penn State Coaches Show” will include segments with various coaches from other Penn State teams and athletics administrators. The November 30 show will feature appearances by Nittany Lion associate head basketball coach Keith Urgo and marketing manager P.J. Mullen.

Guests of “The Penn State Coaches Show Presented by Pepsi” will answer questions from fans at Primanti Bros. and online. Fans can submit questions at Steve Jones, the radio play-by-play voice of the Nittany Lion basketball and football teams, is host of “The Penn State Coaches Show Presented by Pepsi” and will be joined by Roger Corey, who also hosts the Penn State Sports Network's football pre-game Tailgate Show. Jeff Tarman is the producer of the show.

“The Penn State Coaches Show Featuring Patrick Chambers Presented by Pepsi” can be heard live on stations throughout Pennsylvania as well as New York City. The Nittany Lions open Big Ten Conference play on the road at Iowa on Saturday, December 2 (5 p.m. ET) and then play host to Wisconsin in their Big Ten home opener on Monday, December 4 (7 p.m.).
