Oct. 21, 2010
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.; Oct. 21, 2010 - For the fourth year in a row, Penn State men's basketball season ticket holders (adult and student) will be able to enjoy an open practice/scrimmage with the Nittany Lions this Saturday, Oct. 23 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the South Gym of the Bryce Jordan Center.
It will be season ticket holder's first opportunity to see freshmen newcomers Tre Bowman (York, Pa.), Taran Buie (Albany, N.Y.) and Jonathan Graham (Baltimore, Md.) and get a glimpse of the Lions' preseason emphasis on full court pressure and faster paced offense. Following the practice, fans are welcome to join the team in the Jordan Center Founder's Room for pizza and refreshments, along with a few words from Coach Ed DeChellis and a player. Season ticket holders attending the event may park in the Jordan Center Founder's lot on the east side of the arena. Entrance will be through the Founder's entrance and the mezzanine hallway to access the South Gym.
