UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -->Penn State men's basketball season ticket holders are selecting their seats this week using Virtual VenueTM for the Bryce Jordan Center to position themselves for the exciting 2017-18 season. Fans who purchased season tickets and renewed their commitment to Nittany Lion Basketball are eligible to keep their current seats or view options for relocation and upgrades.

The seat selection process began the morning of Tuesday, Aug. 15, and continues through 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday, Aug. 18. Current or new basketball season ticket holders who reserved tickets for the 2017-18 season may log into their ticket account manager to start the process at their designated selection time. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis with options for upgrading to a new section or relocating.

Ninety percent of the 2016-17 men's basketball season ticket holders have already renewed their seats for the upcoming season.

Longtime Penn State fans Edward and Regina Sekol were the first men's basketball season ticket holders to renew their seats for 2017-18. The Sekols have had men's basketball season tickets since the opening of the Bryce Jordan Center in 1996, and plan to keep the location of their four seats for the upcoming season. They are also season ticket holders for Lady Lion Basketball.

"My wife, Regina, and I are big basketball fans and when we had the opportunity to get good seats at the Bryce Jordan Center, we got them," said Sekol, a Penn State graduate. "We really like the atmosphere and being close to the players where our seats are located, but mostly we like the gameday atmosphere. We really enjoy basketball and seeing the Big Ten teams come to Penn State."

The Nittany Lions tip off Friday, Nov. 10 and will play 18 games at the Bryce Jordan Center, including two regional games of the Legends Classic on Friday, Nov. 17 and Friday, Nov. 24. The Big Ten Conference schedule will be announced soon along with tipoff times and promotions for all games. Some games may be selected by media partners for national broadcasts, which may affect start times.
