UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - All-Big Ten point guard Tim Frazier is back.
The Nittany Lions held their first of 10 practices to get ready for their European tour in August on Monday afternoon in the Bryce Jordan Center, and Frazier was a full participant.
The senior leader suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon in his left leg on Nov. 18, but the Houston native put his head down and immediately began the long road back. Through countless hours of rehab without losing any confidence, Frazier's return was a welcome site for Nittany Lion basketball on Monday.
Penn State will field a dynamic backcourt headlined by Frazier and redshirt junior D.J. Newbill in 2013-14. The Lions return three of their top five scorers and rebounders this season. GoPSUsports.com sat down with the senior leader about his return to the floor and what he expects this season. Check out a Q&A with Frazier and footage of Penn State's first European tour practice.
