A two-time Academic All-Big Ten selection and Dean's List student, Kirkpatrick has been a physical and energetic practice player since joining the team as a walk-on in 2007-08. The Cumberland Valley High School standout has seen action in 18 career games scoring his first career bucket vs. Hartford in 2008. His positive attitude and work ethic are a valuable part of the team and his 3.53 grade-point average in finance earned him the team's Academic Achievement Award in 2010.
Kirkpatrick earned the Scholastic Achievement Award after posting a 3.5 grade-point average for the 2009 Fall semester...Saw action in six games on the season with a high of four minutes in the Lions' victory over Gardner-Webb (12/19)...earned Academic All-Big Ten honors for the second time.
