Lions will take on the Fighting Illini at 1:30 p.m. Friday

MINNEAPOLIS-Penn State's second round game against Illinois in the Big Ten Tournament has been pushed back to a 1:30 start on Friday. The game, which was originally scheduled for Thursday at 7 p.m. will have be delayed because of weather conditions that will allow tournament officials to only get two games in on Thursday.

Four games are scheduled for Friday. The first game between No. 1 Minnesota and No. 6 Northwestern was suppose to be played at noon, but wet field conditions pushed the start time back to 3:30 p.m. The loser will play Ohio State at 7 p.m. The winner will face No. 3 Purdue at 10 a.m. on Friday. That winner will advance to face the Penn State/Illinois winner.

The Lions will play two games on Friday regardless if they win or lose. A win means they will play immediately after the Illinois game at 5 p.m. on Friday. A loss will put the Lions in the loser bracket and will play at 8:30 p.m.
