Weather Halts the Big Ten Baseball Tournament

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Torrential showers have halted the 2001 Big Ten Baseball Tournament. For the second consecutive day, rain has forced the rescheduling of games. Game four between the Michigan Wolverines and Purdue Boilermakers will be played at 7:05 tonight. The Ohio State vs. Penn State contest has been postponed until Friday at 12:05 p.m. Game six between Illinois and Minnesota will be played at 3:35 p.m. The final contest on Friday, game seven, will feature the winner of the Ohio State vs. Penn State game against the winner of the Illinois vs. Minnesota game at 7:05 p.m. All subsequent games will be played one time interval later.
