STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - The Penn State Baseball Team will host its second annual Corporate Day this Saturday vs. Michigan State, to be highlighted again with the appearance of the Phillie Phanatic for the second straight year. The doubleheader vs. the Spartans will begin at 1 PM, with the Phanatic scheduled to entertain fans of all ages for most of the afternoon.

Supelco will be the sole sponsor for the event, with C-COR.net and Murata also taking part in the festivities. In addition to entertaining the crowd throughout the day, the Phanatic will also be involved with KidsZone activities behind the first base dugout, where children can test their arm strength, accuracy, bat speed, and foot speed. Fans of all ages are encouraged to attend and take part with the Phanatic and KidsZone activities.

The Lions are currently 24-27 overall, 11-11 in Big Ten Play, and are looking to secure a berth in the Big Ten Championships for the second straight year. The Championships begin next Wed., May 16th at the site of the regular season champion.
