Game-by-Game Promotions Schedule

Penn State baseball games at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park feature several unique theme and promotional nights throughout the 2018 season.

Deals include “Two for Tuesdays,” “Wing Wednesdays” and “Dollar Dog Nights,” while theme days will not only include fun for all ages (and for one game, your dog), but will contribute to great causes such as the fight against cancer and honoring servicemembers.

All promotions are subject to change. Additional promotions may be announced at a later date. Season, flex and single-game ticket options for the 2018 Penn State baseball season, presented by Family Clothesline, in Medlar Field at Lubrano Park are now on sale at or by calling the Medlar Field at Lubrano Park ticket office at 814-272-1711. Ask about the hospitality suite option for season ticket holders and single games.

Early Season Giveaways
Be sure to grab your copy of the 2018 Penn State Baseball Schedule Poster, available at the home opener Wednesday, Mar. 14 vs. Mount St. Mary’s, opening weekend Friday-Sunday, Mar. 16-18 vs. NJIT and Saturday, Mar. 31 vs. Purdue.

The Saturday, Mar. 17 game will also include a “Luck of the Lions” Prize Raffle to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.

The first 200 fans will receive free hot chocolate prior to the Pitt game Wednesday, Mar. 21.

Easter Day Brunch
First pitch against Purdue is at 11 a.m. Sunday, Apr. 1, but the Nittany Lions you covered with a Sunday Brunch available at the concession stand for $10. However, be prepared for some April Fools’ Day hijinks throughout the game.

90s Night
If you love 90’s music, mark Tuesday, Apr. 3 on your calendar. Prior to the West Virginia game, a 90s cover band will be playing your favorite hits from the 90s, and 90s music will be played throughout the game.



Onesie Wednesday
Wednesday, Apr. 4, fans are encouraged to wear their onesie to enjoy the St. Bonaventure game as comfortably as possible. The best onesie will win a great prize.

Postgame Fireworks
The sky above Medlar Field will light up with fireworks following the Ohio State game Friday, Apr. 13. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m., and it will also be Faculty-Staff Night, Team ICA Night and Penn State SAAB’s 800 Strong Game.

Salute to Service/Backyard Baseball Tournament
Sunday of the Ohio State series (Apr. 15) will be Salute to Service Day, as all Veterans and First Responders can claim up to four free tickets by contacting Steve Christ at 814-272-0208 (additional tickets can be purchased at a discounted rate of $2). Fans will be able to see first responder vehicles up close in the Porter North Parking Lot in the Touch-A-Truck exhibit. Fans can also write letters that will be mailed to our service members overseas.

The fun does not end when the game ends. The team will stick around postgame to sign autographs, and the Penn State Marketing Association Backyard Baseball Tournament will feature multiple wiffleball contests right on Medlar Field. More information to come!

Sitcom Night
Throughout the Northwestern game Friday, Apr. 27, clips from the Nittany Lions’ favorite sitcoms will be shown on the videoboard and walk up songs will be sitcom theme songs.

Bark in the Park/Alumni Day
Saturday, April 28 vs. Northwestern will be the day to bring your pup to the park for Bark in the Park Night. Contact Steve Christ at 814-272-0208 for more information. It will also be Alumni Day. Alums will be welcomed back and honored during the game.

Vs. Cancer/THON Sluggers
Penn State fans can support the fight against cancer as the Nittany Lions take on Northwestern Sunday, Apr. 29. It will be THON Sluggers Day, as the Nittany Lions will welcome Four Diamonds Children and volunteers to the ballpark while donating a dollar form every student ticket purchased to THON. It will also be the Lions’ annual Vs. Cancer Day. After the game, fans are welcome to stick around and watch nearly all of the Nittany Lion players and coaches shave their heads on the first base concourse in support of the fight against cancer.

Cinco de Mayo
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo on Saturday, May 5 when Penn State takes on Michigan State. Discounted nachos will be available at the concession stands!

Senior Day/Spring Cleaning
The fun ends with the home finale Saturday, May 12th, starting at 2 p.m. Fans will have a chance to snag a giveaway they may have missed prior to the game, and they can celebrate the Class of 2018 with the annual senior recognition ceremony after the game.

Two for Tuesday*
At every Tuesday game in 2018, fans can purchase two tickets for the price of one! Any fan who purchases a full price ticket is eligible to claim an additional ticket at no charge.

Tuesday, Apr. 3 vs. West Virginia – 6:30 p.m.

Wing Wednesday
At every Wednesday game, fans can enjoy wings at the ballpark at the following prices: Three wings for $3, six wings for $5.50 and 12 wings for $10.

Wednesday, Mar. 21 vs. Pittsburgh – 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Mar. 28 vs. Cornell – 6:30 p.m.

Dollar Dog Nights (Fridays)
All hot dogs are just $1 all game for the following games:

Kids Run the Bases/Free Admission with Youth League Jersey (Sundays)
Postgame, kids 12 and under can run the bases at the following games. They can also receive free admission if they wear their Little League jersey:

The fourth annual “Student Buffet Night” will take place during the Tuesday, Apr. 24 game against Bucknell. Students can get a game ticket and all you can eat buffet for just $5 – the perfect solution to a low meal point total!
