Baseball Single Game Tickets Go On Sale Friday

University Park, Pa. - Single game tickets for the 2008 Penn State baseball season go on sale tomorrow, Friday, February 1. All tickets can be purchased through the State College Spikes ticket office by calling 814-272-1711 or 1-877-99-SPIKES or in person at the ticket office at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. Beginning tomorrow, single game tickets can also be purchased online at statecollegespikes.com.

Single game ticket prices range from $2 to $6. Reserved seats, which are the three sections behind home plate, sections 104, 105 and 106 are $6. All other seats are general admission and are $4 for adults, or $2 for youth and seniors. Groups of 20 or more can purchase single game general admission tickets for $3. Penn State students can purchase single game tickets for $2 and they have a special section, 103, which is behind the visitor dugout.

Season tickets can also still be purchased through the State College Spikes box office. Adult season tickets are $99, youth are $40 while Penn State students can purchase season tickets for just $20. Season tickets can be purchased by phone by calling the Spikes ticket office or in person at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.

Penn State opens its 2008 home schedule on Friday, March 21 against Lehigh at 3:35 p.m. That game is the first of a three-game series. Penn State also hosts Michigan, Indiana (Blue-White Weekend), Michigan State and Iowa for Big Ten weekends and Bucknell, Akron, LaSalle and Youngstown State in individual midweek games.
