Homer City HS: Awarded three varsity letters as a member of the baseball team at Homer City High School in Homer City, Pa....Was a member of two Heritage Conference Championship teams (`05, `06) and a state finalist team in 2005....Team went 18-6 in his junior season en route to the District  Championship and state final appearance and 16-2 as a senior....Also led the team in ERA as a sophomore....Named to the All-Indiana Gazette Team as a junior and senior....Named the Student-Athlete of the Year as a senior and also was the recipient of a leadership award....Also played basketball for three seasons and golf for one year.
