Season: Pitched 12 1/3 total innings over seven appearances with one start, posting eight strikeouts, before season ended due to injury. At No. 15 South Carolina (2/26): Threw a perfect inning in relief with just seven pitches. At UNCW (3/6): Threw a scoreless inning in relief and struck out one. Rhode Island (3/23): Made his first career start and threw a season-high 3 1/3 innings, allowing three runs on three hits and no walks with one strikeout. Michigan State (4/10): Threw two scoreless innings, allowing one hit without yielding a walk and striking out one. At Kent State (4/20): Matched season high with 3 1/3 innings pitched and struck out a season-high three in final appearance of the season.

No. 21 Indiana (3/22): Contributed to Penn State’s first victory over a nationally-ranked team since 2012 with 2 2/3 innings of relief … Allowed a solo home run but no additional hits or runs and struck out two. At West Virginia (4/14): Pitched 1 1/3 inning to earn second win of season. At Minnesota (4/18): Started streak of five scoreless outings. Illinois (4/26): Threw two scoreless innings, only yielding a walk.
