AS A FRESHMAN IN 2012: Played and started in 29 games his rookie season, compiling 32 hits, 15 runs and 18 RBIs ... Held a .495 slugging percentage, a .343 on base percentage, fielded at a .977 clip and was second in put-outs with 201 ... Made collegiate debut on Feb. 26 against UNC-Greensboro ... Recorded first career hit and earned first career RBI against Mississippi State on March 7 ... Began a six-game hitting streak, recording three runs and four RBIs during the stretch ... Collected three hits and one run in the UAB series (March 9-11) ... Posted season-best performance against East Carolina on March 17, hitting his first career home run and earning a total of four RBIs, two runs and three hits ... Also posted his first career double and triple, just a single short of the cycle ... Had a banner day against Coppin State on March 28, tallying his second home run of the season, as well as two runs and two RBIs ...
