AS A RS-JUNIOR IN 2012: Played and started in 53 games, holding a .943 fielding percentage at shortstop and ending the season with 41 hits and 14 RBIs ... Opened the season with an RBI against Seton Hall on Feb. 17 ... Collected two stolen bases in a three-game series against Samford (March 3-5), as well as four hits and two runs ... Came away from the Mississippi State series (March 6-7) with one run, one hit, two RBIs and a double ... Posted his best game of the East Carolina Series on March 18, recording a run, two hits, two RBIs, a double and a stolen base ... On March 24, produced an extra inning, walk-off RBI single to give Penn State a 4-3 victory over Indiana ... Ended the Hoosiers series with three hits after going 2-for-2 on March 25 ... Came away from the Purdue series (March 30-April 1) with two runs, four hits and a double, and additionally began a seven-game hit streak ... AS A RS-FRESHMAN IN 2010: Impressive rookie season, finishing fourth on the team with a .341 average in 45 games (41 starts) ... One of two Penn State outfielders named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team ... Drove in 20 runs while scoring 34 ... Third on the team with nine stolen bases ... Versatile in starting 14 games at second base, 25 in right field and two in left ... Recorded 17 multi-hit games, including 10 in conference play ... HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year starting shortstop at Lewistown where he led the Panthers' offense junior and senior seasons with a .407 average and .679 slugging percentage ... Squad won the 2007 PIAA District VI AAA championship and 2008 Central Penn League title ... A two-time All-Star in both the Mountain Athletic Conference and Central Penn League ... Also pitched at Lewistown, earning a complete game victory in the 2007 PIAA state playoffs as squad advanced to the state quarterfinals ... Multi-sport athlete, lettering for four years in basketball and starting for two seasons ... Scored 1,115 career points to rank ninth on the school's all-time scoring list ...
