West Chester East HS: Earned three varsity letters at West Chester East High School, where he was teammates with fellow Nittany Lions David Lutz and Bobby Jacobs....Named All-Chesmont in two seasons....Hit .365 with four home runs and 25 RBI as a junior and was named first team All-Area and named the Best Offensive Player on the team....Led team in stolen bases as both a sophomore and a junior....Hit .380 with six home runs as a sophomore....Hit .345 with eight RBIs in just four games as a senior, missing most of the campaign with hamstring injuries....Team won the Chestmont championship his senior year....Was on the honor roll.
