AS A RS-JUNIOR IN 2012: Appeared in 12 contests, starting six and pitching a total of 32.2 innings ... Made season debut against Seton Hall on Feb. 17, opening the first three innings with two strikeouts, two hits and two earned runs ... Struck out a season-best four batters against UNC-Greensboro on Feb. 24 ... Earned his first Penn State career win against Samford on March 3, shutting down 11 of the last 13 hitters he faced ... Struck out three while allowing seven hits and just one earned run in 6.0 innings against the Bulldogs ... Earned fifth start and second win of the season on April 4 against Binghamton, striking out one batter while allowing just one earned run in five-innings ... Pitched three innings in relief against Iowa on April 22, striking out three and holding the Hawkeyes scoreless and hitless ... Earned his third win of the season against Michigan State on May 18, pitching a perfect eighth inning by holding the Spartans hitless and striking out one batter ... Fired a total of three games without a single hit or earned run.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2010 (AT SADDLEBACK J.C.): Made 15 appearances for the Gauchos, including 11 starts ... Posted a 5-3 record in 69.1 innings of work ... Ranked second on the team with 50 strikeouts and caught a team-high 23 batters looking ... Struck out eight in his season debut against Palomar on February 3 ... Picked up his first win of the season after tossing 7.1 innings without surrendering an earned run against Mt. San Jacinto on February 11 ... Ended the season strong, going 3-0 in the team's final six games.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2009 (AT ARIZONA): Appeared in seven games for the Wildcats ... Struck out seven over 7.1 innings on the mound ... Whiffed two during a perfect frame against No. 4 Georgia on February 28 ... Started on March 3 in a 15-4 rout against Holy Cross.
HIGH SCHOOL: Excelled as a member of the Dana Hills baseball team ... Earned three varsity letters during his tenure with the Dolphins ...
