AS A RS-JUNIOR IN 2012: Appeared in 12 contests, starting six and pitching a total of 32.2 innings ... Made season debut against Seton Hall on Feb. 17, opening the first three innings with two strikeouts, two hits and two earned runs ... Struck out a season-best four batters against UNC-Greensboro on Feb. 24 ... Earned his first Penn State career win against Samford on March 3, shutting down 11 of the last 13 hitters he faced ... Struck out three while allowing seven hits and just one earned run in 6.0 innings against the Bulldogs ... Earned fifth start and second win of the season on April 4 against Binghamton, striking out one batter while allowing just one earned run in five-innings ... Pitched three innings in relief against Iowa on April 22, striking out three and holding the Hawkeyes scoreless and hitless ... Earned his third win of the season against Michigan State on May 18, pitching a perfect eighth inning by holding the Spartans hitless and striking out one batter ...
