AS A FRESHMAN IN 2012: Appeared in 20 games, pitching a total of 20.2 innings and striking out 23 batters ... Made season collegiate debut against Seton Hall Feb. 17, where he held the opposition hitless and retired two batters ... Earned first career save by striking out the side against UAB on March 11, holding the Blazers hitless ... Notched second save against Pittsburgh on March 21, firing a scoreless ninth inning and allowing just one hit ... Pitched a season-high of 2.2 innings on March 25 against Indiana, striking out two, walking two and holding the Hoosiers hitless ...
