Bronx, NY - The Penn State Men¡¯s Cross Country team finished 12th today at the 97th ICAAAA/21st ECAC Championships.

Senior Chris Nirschel finished 32nd overall, leading the team with a time of 25:52.8. Also scoring were sophomores Oskar Nordenbring (47th, 26:03.6) and Michael Syrnick (66th, 26:16.6), junior Mark Horton (75th, 26:23.6), and seniors Ian McCann (82nd, 26:28.6), Matt Lincoln (85th, 26:30.1), and Sean Kennedy (100th, 26:44.4).

Seniors Kyle Berseth and Patrick Murphy, freshman John Mahoney, and junior David Moore also participated.

Duke took the Men¡¯s team title, with Cornell and Notre Dame rounding out the top three. Ryan Sheehan of St. Francis took first place with a time of 24:58.9 on the 5-mile course.
