State College, Pa.- Freshman cross country sensation Tracey Brauksieck (Homer, N.Y.) earned her second consecutive Athlete of the Week honor and her third of the season after finishing as the top Big Ten performer at the 2002 Asics/Pacesetter Pre-Nationals in Terre Haute, IN, Oct. 19. Brauksieck finished 15th out of a field of 254 competitors in the White Race, posting a time of 20:47 for the six-kilometer course. Her clocking was the fastest among finishers from nine Big Ten programs.
