University Park, Pa. October 15, 2005 ¡ª The Penn State Men¡¯s Cross Country team finished 10th today at the PSU Nationals, an event that welcomed some of the best talent in the country to Happy Valley.

Junior Dan Mazzocco led the team with a 26th place finish, recording a time of 25:59. Also putting up scoring times were sophomore Oskar Nordenbring (26:34), seniors John Iannacone and Chris Nirschel (both at 26:38), senior Sean Kennedy (26:50), senior Ian McCann (26:58) and sophomore Michael Syrnick (27:03). Providence Junior Martin Fagan came in first at 24:56, the second-best time ever run at the White Course. Ahmed Hajj of Providence and C.W. Moran of James Madison rounded out the top three.

Next up for the Lions are the Big Ten Championships on October 30.
