Vancouver, Wash.-- Michelle Wale (Fr., Pine Bush, N.Y.) finished in 10th place on Saturday in the 2002 Winter Cross Country Championships, Junior Division (19 and under). Wale finished the 6,000 meter course in a time of 22:04, good for third place among those representing colleges. Wale's 10th place finish caps off a cross country season which saw her qualify for the NCAA Cross Country Championships as a freshman. Wale also was the top finisher for the Nittany Lions in every meet of the 2001 season.
